Maybe it is nothing to do with Pink Panther, and it is not so pink,

but I don't know why this pic came out pink.

Ok, and I love Pink Panther.

Aleppo. Alkhandak Street شارع الخندق

One of the oldest streets in the city, located between old town and new areas. Always busy with people, except Friday noon, as you see.
Many shops sell here home necessities, electric goods, and other stuff.
I don't know if these buildings is resided now, because all were migrated to calm streets.
Once here was the central street of the town. Now there is surely many 'central' streets.
Old aleppean people will remember nostalgically these areas.

Midday In Aleppo

Sometimes I am bored on Fridays and Saturdays if I don't come out of Aleppo. Ok, just within Aleppo. Especially at noon, nobody in the streets.
The citadel now is dry like a patient in dehydration.

Walking in the midday around the citadel. What I met, here they are.

The Clock Of Bab Al-faraj Square

The clock of Bab Al-faraj Square

Aleppo city center. Nearly the border between the old town and the new section. Here are a lot of hotels, although not so luxury but 'ok' for who is on the budget.
Also in the pic you see the National Library of Aleppo, which contains also a very nice theatre, one of the best in Syria.

As said this is the center of the city. Plus on the right not visible, is being constructed Hotel Sheraton.
On the left you see the old hotels.
Right to me - the clock (invisible).
